The financial factor may be the most significant, but not exactly within your control except to make sure there are enough affordable schools on the list. Whether full pay increases chances up into the T20-50 range is hard to guess from right now in April. It might or might not. Even top universities have hiring freezes, though presumably those would go into effect long before financial aid is impacted.[/quote]
