Ok again... people are delivering this stuff with no contact
It is not no contact for the shopper. That is what the shopper person is saying. It is only no contact for the recipient.
The shopper is at work grabbing items. Gets in their car. Drops it off. It can still be low contact. I don’t know what you expect people to do. Not everyone has a giant basement or extra fridge and freezer to store 2 months of food. People have to eat and order groceries and the stores are open. Nobody is saying put in random nonsense orders for lemongrass and wine but god, people are going to order groceries. No country has shut down grocery stores. Get a grip on yourself.
NP here. I have 2 fridge, 1 freezer and 1 mini-fridge (exclusively being used for cheeses). I have my basement with one room dedicated to cold storage. I have my pantry and stuff. I have my 40 bottles of wine (Thank you VA costco and the cash back reward) and I do the lemongrass thing. That is not random. I am consuming but not wasting. I am keeping the economy running. I am also isolating so that I am safe and others are safe from me. Good food is a solace right now and a privilege. I may be looking like a troll with unkempt gray hair and wearing ratty sweats - but I am eating well, recycling, don't have pets, and don't own a gun. I am peaceful, in a zen state of mind, not drinking/smoking/taking drugs - so not creating domestic disturbances. I will not be needing police, EMT, or firefighters.
