I'm a dog owner, and you should be ashamed of yourself.  You're forcing people to run, what, 12 feet away from you to avoid your freaking dog?

Everyone needs to go single file if there is anyone passing you on either side: runners, walkers, all of us.  I run, and I've seen both runners and walkers insisting on side by side.  It's disgusting.  I'm only going very early in the morning now to avoid people as much as possible, but it's painful how selfish so many are.[/quote]

Exactly.  I'm a runner AND a walker (who walks next to my kid) and I have no problem in either situation making way.  The problem only arises when a runner bears down on you and doesn't give you the time to move over.  [/quote]
