The most popular podcast on iTunes right now is this man. He said there’s no way to limit your exposure. Avoiding people and spaces helps but it’s likely our non-symptom kids are already carrying it into our homes. Again, it’s in the AIR we breathe — not our hands, food, a fork, a doorknob. This is why cruises infect everyone — the air circulates through same HVAC.
Osterholm is the director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) at the University of Minnesota and a Regents Professor, the McKnight Presidential Endowed Chair in Public Health, a Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences, School of Public Health, a professor in the Technological Leadership Institute, College of Science and Engineering, and an adjunct professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Because people on cruises aren't touching the same stuff over and over?
Honestly, if it were truly airborne, everyone on a cruise would get it. Hundreds did but not thousands - that alone implies it is not airborne but rather requires some kind of close contact with respiratory droplets (which is not the same as “airborne”) or touching infected surfaces which is highly likely on a cruise ship.
