Cross-admit data indicates over 90% who get into both choose the state flagship. Practically none of the competitive out of state applicants to Michigan even waste time applying to MSU. And MSU is broke. Their scholarships are few and far. UM is far wealthier, so the "scholarships" and financial aid offers are 10x more generous.[/quote]
