But it does make a difference! Asthma is a lung/breathing issue . This virus attacks this whole system so people with asthma,  people who smoke, old people and very overweight people are at much higher risk of dying.   Why do you think people in the most severe cases are having to go on ventilators?  My 50 yr old uncle died a few yrs ago from Legionnaires disease he contracted in Germany. He had asthma and was a smoker. [/quote]

DP, the point is if you are at risk or in a vulnerable demo, by all means take precautions, stay home etc. Doesn’t mean everybody else should be freaking out or shut down for months and months though.[/quote]
