Grocery chains and Costco are all hiring, if someone is in need of temporary employment.
Amazon too. Hiring no skills required and they upped the pay and benefits.
Trouble is pay way too low. I got an offer to do consulting today at $65 an hour. Sounded ok as out of work but no medical so still on $3,000 a month cobra, forfeit $1,600 a month unemployment and have to commute to work another $400 a month. No sick days or days off. No telecommuting so risking getting sick and my wife is high risk so risking her life. It also stops my job hunt. Problem is displaced folks need good jobs with medical. Companies are taking advantage. I had one job offer massive pay cut from prior job due to my out of work and Corona. Yet still interviewing as benefits.
