I’m 31 and have never in my life had the *actual* flu A or flu B. I wonder if when I eventually do catch it someday, it will hit me harder than if I’d had it a couple times as a young person. I don’t eat that healthily but have always been naturally thin/fit (sports/staying active) and very vigilant about hand washing for as long as I remember.
I’m a PP who said my kids never get sick yet their diet is pretty awful by DCUM standards (meaning it’s normal food, nothing organic, they eat Oreos and fruit snacks daily too and I have like 7 boxes of garbage cereal in my pantry right now). I’m also a high school teacher in a public school. The kids go to public school and aftercare. No way we aren’t exposed to every nasty ass virus under the sun yet none of us get them. Perhaps this is why I’m rather blasé about coronavirus, I’m not sure. We just don’t seem to catch viruses despite being immersed in virus and bacteria laden environments all day long.
