DP but I'm trying to understand your point here.  I agree that geese are territorial and unpleasant.  But I would not intentionally drive into one just because I didn't want to wait for a gaggle of them to cross the street.  I am deeply annoyed by deer and see them all the time in our neighborhood but I don't try to kill them because they bug me.  Okay, we all agree that geese are ornery.  So what?  It's okay to drive over one for no reason?  It's not like OP was going to eat the bird, she just killed it out of impatience.  That mindset is extremely messed up, even if geese aren't cuddly.  And they're not.[/quote]
