Ovulation test that you suggest would not have any negative effect on your health, therefore, you won't be back for treating side effects like with BC. No hope there. [/quote] Cheap ovulation test strips already exist - they don’t prevent pregnancy because the hormones you need to detect are only high enough just before ovulation which is significantly less time than sperm live inside the female reproductive organs. If you are serious about preventing, you basically can only have sex after ovulation is confirmed. Case in point - I’m pregnant (planned) from sex 5-7 days before I ovulated and 5-6 days before a positive ovulation test.[/quote]
