And, regardless, this is true regardless of the medical condition for which someone is requesting leave. If someone ends up needing medical leave after a skiing accident, would you similarly call them selfish for not wanting to have to take their entire medical leave unpaid? What about if they injure themselves in their soccer league? It was their choice to do sports where injuries are common, after all.[/quote]
