Governor Northam has said he will withhold funding from any county that refuses to enforce state gun confiscation laws, and Rep Gerry Connelly said that any law enforcement officers that refuse to enforce gun confiscation should be prosecuted. Perhaps SOME in NoVa voted for this. 
But, you  can bet that many  didn't and the same for the remainder of VA. 
It won't end well if he tries to go this route.
