[/quote] LOL. OP here. my parents were never poor, but I paid for my college education and law school, and my husband and are I more financially secure than either of my parents. So now, because I reached out to DCUM asking how to communicate to my mom that I couldn't be the person she leans on for emotional support in regard to my father, I am weak, unsympathetic to my mom, and motivated by money. Whoever said I should have stuck to my therapist was correct. [/quote]
