I was seated at the very end of the train near the exit with my eyes closed when one reached over tried to steal my bag.  Opened my eyes just in time!  It was so close.

Another time saw one reach over into a ladys bag from the seat behind her I stood up and screamed as loud as I could and he took his hand out and sat back down.[/quote]
