They may be younger, but usually a lot uglier.  As someone else explained, the pretty 20 somethings are not interested in middle aged married men.  They have their pick of handsome men in their own age bracket they are looking to find a stable relationship in the future with.  20 somethings having affairs with married men have issues, be it poor looks, daddy issues, or looking for money. Not my AP, but I'm divorced at 40 and my GF is 26. None of the issues above apply to her and she is adamant that I treat her better than men her own age have. We both know this is probably not forever, but have been together for 18 months, my daughter really likes her and my former wife and she are friendly enough when it comes to coordinating activities.

Not a dis to you but I would hope that my daughter never dated someone that much older than her.  I would definitely have a talk with her if she did date someone that much older.

I'm sure it's not the norm. We do treat each other well and with respect.  In my first two years after divorce I dated from 31 to 37 (my age at the time) and don't see any difference in how I interacted with those women than with my current partner other than that we have grown closer/more supportive over time.
