Nothing worse than women whose identity is centered around being blonde so much that they dye their hair blonde for decades after it's turned brown.
Eh I'm a redhead in mourning for the loss of vibrancy in my hair color as I age. I totally get it. Your hair color can be a big part of your identity when it's a less common color, a part of what makes you you.
Funny, I am above pp auburn brunette and my hair is so much more vibrant at almost 50. Got that nice dark reddish undertone that just shines. I use hair gloss, that is what I do, thanks to dcum advice! Unless you are all the way grey? I went to cover a few greys(very few) and spend money on low-lights few weeks ago, and should have gone to an older hairdresser. This young, well meaning hair dressed that does my dds blonde hair, had no idea how to color dark hair with grey! I spend good money and two days later the color washed out from my grey hair! Dcum also recommended semi permanent hair gloss, and huge thanks for that! I will be trying it. As my hair was not colored prior to this fiasco, I had no need for any treatment so I had no clue about all that is available! My hair looks so much better now than even! Except when I was pregnant with ds, men, that was some miracle hair I had then!
