There’s nothing wrong with it. But I think it’s a lot to ask of a tween/teen to spend hours with someone they don’t like or want to hang out with in the name of kindness. I find it difficult to do and I’m an adult!  As long as kids aren’t being actively mean to others I don’t see why they have to seek out the friendless kid. [/quote]

Because it’s kind. I always tell my kids if there’s a kid that has nobody to sit with at lunch you include that person and when they sit down you’re nice to them And include them in the conversation[/quote]

Homework is hard too and sometimes they don’t wanna do it but doesn’t mean you don’t do it. The more you do it the easier it gets so yeah it is a requirement.[/quote]
