So a child could learn how to speak, read and write Spanish during the one hour of lunch/recess? Seems to me the better way to learn the language is to actually have instruction in it for majority of a school day. And at my child's language school, many of his classmates are in fact native speakers. Also, not sure how it is being 'high and mighty' with respect to speakers of another language to actually take steps to effectively learn their language? So you are saying the non high and mighty thing to do would be to NOT learn to communicate with speakers of another language? Me thinks you are just bitter for some reason....[/quote]
