Right. Which the murderer is responsible for. Not other law abiding citizens. We have a right to own guns that is not negated by the crimes of bad guys/gals.

If a law passes which bans assault rifles, the people who don't commit crimes and own assault rifles will dutifully turn their assault rifles over to the government.  Because they are people who don't commit crimes.  Those who don't turn them over would no longer be considered as "people who don't commit crimes."  Because they would be committing a crime, and therefore would be punished by a loss of constitutional rights.  That's how we do it in America.  If you don't like it, go move to Afghanistan.[/quote]
