Then why are the players not there now?

It is about the team your kid will be playing on not the logo on the jersey.

I’m sure kids on Loudoun White or silver will kick the tires at FCV but that’s about it. Good luck being a destination when you give up over 15 goals over a weekend.

Funny thing with FCV, lots try out.  If they don't make DA (now) or ECNL (a few years back), they leave.  They do not stay on lower level teams.

Same thing is happening.  I do think the numbers are smaller.  I remember a 100-120 at ECNL tryouts, so there is a 20% decline in numbers, but FCV is getting a lot to tryouts.

Tryouts are on top of people coming in throughout the year for a look. At least once every other month or so. After Nov it gets crazy with how many show up for a session or two.[/quote]
