I drive past that house every day. We live between EFC and Ballston Metro, and my husband’s drive to Ballston is equivalent to walking from that house to EFC. His commute is 45 min door to door to Federal Triangle. [/quote]

[/quote]It is one block from the front of the mall to the metro escalator.  (I can literally see both from where I'm sitting right now.)  I don't know how long it would take to get out of the mail from where you park.  But, I can't imagine it takes much more than 5 minutes max.

Guess it depends on how long it takes to drive up the ramps to the lot. And how far away he parks from the elevator. And how long he has to wait for an elevator and ride it down. And wait for the light to cross the street. And walk the block over the Metro. 5-10 min sounds about right.
