I fact-checked this and you are correct. What I find odd is that the average size is 16-18, yet the average weight is 170 lbs. A 170lb woman is not a size 16-18. 170lbs = about a size 12. A woman would have to be 200+ lbs to be a size 16-18. [/quote]

Uh, no. Height matters greatly. As does brand. As does where you carry your weight. 
I weigh 185 right now and am 5’10” and wear anything from 14-18 depending on the brand. 16 is pretty typical. I don’t think I’d be in a size 12 consistently if I lose another 15 lbs, probably a 14.  And a 170 lb person who is 5’2” is not going to wear the same size as a 170 lb person who is my height. [/quote]

I would love to see you in person because I can't imagine a woman as tall as you and at your stated weight being a 16. At your weight and height, you sound like a 12.
