If the fatal assailant was "clearly known" by anyone else in the restaurant [i]other than his friends[/i], that name would be all over social media by now.  It's not.  We don't "clearly know" his name.

You're also assuming there was a working security camera inside the bar that captured an image of the fighting party and that law enforcement has that but hasn't released it.  Or that there was a perfectly placed gov't security camera on the street outside that captured images of the group and police have the image but aren't releasing it.

Put a clear shot of his face up from the camera and they would have identified his elementary school and mother's work address in 48 hours.

Aside from that, if he was brought in for questioning or the detectives did so at his house THEY KNOW WHO HE IS.

As for the cameras - this is restaurant that regularly has congressional patrons in Navy Yard, not the middle of nowhere in an Applebees parking lot. There were cameras. [/quote]
