The problem is that you're thinking that this stuff ^^ is what all Americans will have at the top on their minds when they vote. You have every single Democratic candidate saying they will give free health care to illegal immigrants, while Americans are either paying for private insurance or have no insurance themselves. Then they all say they want to strip the private insurance that many people are happy with and give us government insurance. If you think this sits well with people, think again. Yes, Trump is seen as vile by many Americans. And Dems keep saying "the party isn't the Squad!" But every presidential candidate is as far left as the Squad, or close to it. Oh, please.  You know they will be subsidized.  It will end up being free for them.  Not for the American citizens, though.

So, those pushing for Medicare for all..... yes, it would be free to illegals.  The rest of us would pay.

It is currently free for low income American citizens.  It will be in the future.  They are not going to take that away from low income Americans.  Even if we have medicare for all, it wasn't meant to be free for all, just as it isn't free for all on medicare now.  It's a sliding scale.  Even without offering this to illegal immigrants, it still wouldn't be free for all.[/quote]
