I’ll tell you what virtue signaling means to me in MCPS.

The BOE wants to spend millions of dollars to convert bathrooms so that they are mixed gender restrooms.  Why?  In order to ensure that the tiny percentage of transgender students in MCPS do not get bullied.

Ridiculous.

They need to focus on bullying as a while and demand better behavior from all students.  It should be unacceptable to bully students for their gender, for their religion, for their sexual preferences, for being overweight, for being White, for being Muslim.

Instead, students learn early on that they can be disrespectful to other students and to teachers and they will not face any consequences.  Work on fixing that and improve the school environment for ALL children.[/quote]
