I know quite a few MCPS teachers in real life and they all describe the central office and culture coming out of it as very toxic. However, I'm sure that if you are in the central office then they must sound bitter because you know the central office is just awesome.[/quote]

I’m not in Central Office. DH and I are classroom teachers in MCPS. Both career changers with no desire to leave the classroom. I know unhappy teachers. Some have good cause to be unhappy in MCPS specifically. Others will be miserable in education anywhere. I just don’t understand coming back repeatedly to DCUM to post about a system you left. Do former UPS employees who go to work for FedEx constantly write about how awful UPS is?[/quote]
