If my bio mom or dad tried to make me feel like I was doing something wrong, that would have been really hard for me to deal with, luckily my parents acted like adults and put us kids first. You don't get to decide for your kids how they feel about their mom or dad's new spouse. We get to decide that and we will decide how we want to refer to someone that is caring for us. We had it hard enough as kids....trust me. [/quote]
