However, their SAT average (1109) [https://dcps.dc.gov/publication/dcps-data-set-sat] is lower than the Mont Co average for all schools (1167) https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/press/index.aspx?pagetype=showrelease&id=8231&type=&startYear=&pageNumber=&mode= So the average for magnet schools in Mont Co would be higher. I know this is a reflection of the background of many Banneker students (e.g., many are first in their families to be college-bound), not the school. [/quote]
