You thought wrong.  African-American single mother living in public housing used her father’s address, where they sometimes stayed.  “After a seven-day jury trial, Kelley Williams-Bolar was found guilty of two third-degree felonies — with a sentence of five years in prison each.”

People bring this up a lot and I agree there's a huge discrepancy in how minorities are treated by the system. THAT SAID, Kelly WIlliams-Bolar was only found GUILTY of the felonies which came up to 5 years in prison. In effect she was sentenced to only 10 days in jail.

She will also be required to perform community service, the Beacon Journal reported.
