School starts before the peak of rush hour and most of the busses are going East on the Beltway which is against traffic in the am. The busses also use the HOV lanes on 270. Our bus (from Wooten area) is longer than it would be in our neighborhood but traffic is not typically a huge issue.[/quote] And then there is 3pm to 7pm gridlock, which we all know is awful for anyone let alone a busy Hs kid.
