+1  I would be worried the driver behind you is a loon with a gun.  I saw an altercation on the freeway once, and almost honked at them to stop, then thought better of it. I just patiently stopped several feet behind them and let it play out.  I was scared that I might be shot as an innocent bystander, though. This is what it's come to in this country.. when innocent people have to be afraid that someone loon out there has a gun.[/quote]

This is why I never EVER engage in road rage or really any confrontation with a stranger. Way too many petty people with guns walking around to feel safe. I’d rather be alive than “right” and dead. [/quote]

I grew up in a place where gang initiation included deliberately driving slow until a driver behind you honked. Then the initiate would get out of the car and shoot the driver behind him. [/quote]

DP.. actually, no, it's not funny. I'm the first PP above.  I grew up in LA, and some crazy drivers do purposefully do this to incite an altercation.[/quote]
