So we always had a beach day or 2. Lots of families where I'm from did Myrtle Beach (so many lodging options) or state parks with lakes (there are dozens in WV). Summersville Lake, Sherwood, etc. Cheap and you have a body of water so it feels like a vacation. Look for vacation spots where the population is middle class and you'll find better bargains.[/quote]
