OP here. I am amazed at the moronic responses posted. I asked the question because I am interested in learning more and hearing other perspectives. If you don't like the question or can't add anything relevant then go away. Why post? I have found several of the posts informative and helpful. Notice that I have no other agenda other than to hear insights and perspectives. I have not pushed a club or coach or written anything negative about a club or coach. At the end of the day, this is why we have the site so that people can share information. Again, if you are not interested in sharing information then go away. It is simple. BTW, you don't need to know anything about my kid other than she is of age to enter DA/ECNL and is considering both leagues. Again, if you don't have anythig to add then go away. Finally, I have asked for suggestions of non-ECNL/DA teams and coaches.
People HAVE provided honest answers as well as perspective. I am sorry that they are not what you want to hear but you been granted every courtesy you deserve. You have also been told that in order to provide better answers more information is needed from you. It is not that complicated. State the age and clubs and you will may get meaningful answers. And you have been told by the people you have asked that our knowing the age is important. Perhaps people know what age groups a coach will end up with that you hadn't considered. This is a two way street my friend and frankly you are the one who is not getting the answers to questions that only you want. The fact of the matter is we don't care enough about your kid to tell you more than you have already been told without more info. Where you end up means more to you than any of us so either follow the advice that has been given with the best of intent or stfu.
Not PP, but speak for yourself.
Ok, because all I saw that remotely answered the OP were a few names of coaches that nobody admitted to have actually had as their own kids coach. By the standards of the OP question, sorry but the collective point still stands. Unless more information is provided by the OP it is difficult for people to provide any specific meaningful answers in the form of a list. Everything else has been sound advice regarding the process to find the answer absent of meaningful information. By the tone of the last few posts the OP seems to finally "get it" that the question is not really as simple as it first appears.
It is clear than you have issues.
I'm just stating the facts. People have not provided a list of coaches that they are willing to admit their DD's have had. The Op is getting information but it was predicted what info would be provided and so far that has been in fact the case. Tell us all your DD's coach if you wish to prove me wrong and that I have "issues".
Dude the guy does not want to share his coach or club. Rather odd you keep harping on him to provide it. Also weird you talk about some collective like you are union boss and understand what we all think. Give it up.
That is fine, just don't complain when, for the exact same reasons people do not provide theirs. The OP is beyond this point now but you seem stuck in it. Feel free to prove me wrong by listing your DD's best coaches. The point stands and the OP is getting unexpected information so you can let it go now.
Now you are asking me to provide my DD's best coaches? LOL. You go first since you want transparency. My guess is that you would never share your club or coach either.
