Yes, in a way, it does. But what it does point out, without a doubt, is that people are completely unaware of just how expensive real estate is in all of MD. All those posts about find something cheap in Olney, Gaithersburg, Howard county are off base. Sure they are cheaper than NW DC, for the most part, but if you want  a decent and bigger place, even all the way to Frederick, you are paying a lot of money. Also, it shows how privileged so many people are here. For majority of average working families, Gaitersburg is not FAR from DC, [b]for many Gaitersburg HS is a perfectly good school[/b]. Let's not fake why people don't want their kids in brand new state of the art building in Gaithersburg and it is not because of Great school rating, it is because of the student body ethnicity. So, yes, not only is OP out of touch with real-estate reality in MD, OP is elitist and racist for assuming that people don't want to live there or pay that much for nice place close to everything in Gaithersburg. Sorry but no. I live very close to Crown in the Wootton district, and there is no way anyone would want GHS. People love QO and Wootton but anything in the Gaithersburg area not districted for either of those is awful. Crown is great but Rio is somewhat dumpy and ratchet. I bet most here don't know this but the Rio apartments go to a W-school - Wootton. [/quote]
