Ha. It's a hassle though, having to go back to the bus stop and pick your kid up, especially if they've already been on the bus for a while. DH was already at work, and if I had been on time, she would've been left in the cold. Can't walk home when you live 6 miles from the bus stop in 30 degree weather[/quote]

I was already at work when the buses turned around. Kid's bus stop is at a high school and she has to cross several busy streets to get home(which is why I usually pick her up). I work in DC so obviously I wasn't going to go back home and pick her up. She had to stand in the cold for 15 minutes, trying to call me, before she ended up having to walk home in the long run.
