Does anyone know if the siblings are adults? Can’t imagine trying to return to school or college in January after this.
For gosh sakes that is a cruel thing to say. Why don’t you talk about how supportive you would be of a friend or classmate that this happened to???
How is that cruel? I was being sympathetic thinking that it would be one more horrible choice to make. My DD’s grades went down the semester after her cousin was killed by the police. No matter how supportive people are, you just can’t focus completely on papers and exams.
Say something positive or be quiet.
Np- They did, you aren’t cut out for this forum, please go elsewhere.
Go ahead and whisper things behind people’s backs - You’re a real creep.
I don’t understand. Is this story about a mentally unwell son, also bringing out mentally unwell posters? Truly no one is “whispering” anything. If you are hearing whispers or voices you need to tell someone and get help. This forum is not for you.
The subject was about speaking about the surviving children. The poster had opinions about them being back in school and out in public after this and I would again state that if you can’t be supportive and nurturing to the surviving children then don’t go near them. No gossiping about them or how they should or should not be acting or about whether they should be back at school and their regular lives or not. No judgement just support. Even if your great niece had a hard time after a death . Leave them alone.
No honey, and I’m trying to go easy on you here, because you obviously have some sort of issue here. I originally thought you were just trolling. I don’t know what this horrible tragedy has stirred up for you, but If you want to discuss trauma from your own past, please start another thread. The top person here isn’t talking in specifics, not really. They are echoing an empathetic statement that just about any other human shares. The idea of moving on after a personal horror. It wasn’t cruel or creepy. That you can’t see that means this thread is not for you, and that’s ok.
