Come on, people. Long time lurker here. Seems like one, maybe two, posters hiding as anonymous have an issue with the owner. Get over it, or go see him and deal with it. The club is filled with excellent coaches who are interested in the boys and their development. Success breeds contempt. It would be one thing if Madlax was the bottom in performance, but given they perform at the highest level in the DMV, makes you wonder about the bashers. If you are a parent thinking about where your boy might want to play lacrosse at a high level and whether he will flourish, check out Madlax. Hard to argue about the quality kids who have advanced through the program and are playing in collegiate ranks. Walk through Alexandria, Arlington, Bethesda, Potomac, McLean, Great Falls, Olney, DC, and any other DMV enclave--kids from those places are at Stanford, Lafayette, Denver, Maryland, Hopkins, Virginia, Penn State, Michigan, Navy, North Carolina, and many other excellent schools. Bet you could sample the top kids who have scholarship $$ or who got into a school with the boost of lacrosse and 100% would sing praises of Madlax and its staff. The negative postings are obviously from disappointed parents who may have had unrealistic expectations of their children and never moderated back to reality. One thing about Madlax--they can find a spot for almost every kid if he wants to play after HS--so long as he and his parents are realistic about the level of play. Just my humble opinion as a lurker. But, good luck to all!
