I don't understand why all these parents in their 40's and 30's are responding to a question directly asked of 50+ year old parents in the "Fifty and Older" forum. Do you people really know know whether you are over 50 or not?
I read here but rarely comment. I am “only” 44 and DH is “only” 49, but this forum often is a bit more relevant to where we are in life that a general forum, as we don’t have much in common with the average poster in their 20s or 30s and/or single and/or starting or building their career. I don’t generally Comment, but I don’t think you should be too surprised that a public 50+ forum does t have a hard age limit. That said, our youngest is 4 so we will fall into the group OP is referring to and are somewhat ther with our 8 year old. I am glad to live in a place where we aren’t/won’t be considered straight up ancient parents.
