I haven't seen the GDA teams play yet but as far as the BDA teams, yes I do think they play a more possession based style than Arlington teams have typically been known for.

Arlington has always been hit or miss when it comes to possession vs run-and-gun.  Well, mostly miss, but there were always some exceptions.  Now, combined with the coaches they've brought in from outside, they've put their more possession based coaches in charge of their DA teams.

Also, didn't the GDA teams bring in a lot of non-Arlington players?  Especially on the 05s, it looks like less than half the team is from Arlington.

For the boys its kind of misleading.  Many of their 05s and 06s were previously on Arlington teams, but only for a year before being eligible for the DA.  The reality is they were mostly developed elsewhere.

This thread has definitely taken a turn for the worse and is it just me, or are these guys fighting over the same thing? Arlington GDA is moving toward a more possession style, but at times (especially when pressured) resort back to the old run and gun style.  Yes.  That is correct. Seems like everyone agrees.  And yet we still have the insults.
