Serena isn't the only mother on the tour but because of Serena the WTA is finally doing things to help mothers on the tour. She is vocal about being a mom because it helps other mothers who work. It helps other women on the tour. The WTA had done little to help players deal with traditionaly "women's issues". Venus Williams has had a major part in advocating for equal pay and better benefits for women on the tour. Serena has had both a wonderful and a hard life. I don't get your use of interesting. She has struggled with many issues - her parents divorce, scandals, her sister's murder, having a relationship with a player who used her just to help Sharapova, being insulted right and left for her looks, she has admitted that until her marriage she has struggled to find love. She has money and althetic prowess but has struggled in so many other ways. She's not entitled.  [/quote]
