Many of their previous teams did extremely well at tournaments. But that's not the point. Doing well at tournaments is not a prerequisite to getting kids recruited. College recruiters couldn't care less who wins a game or a tournament. They are looking for individual talent. VLC is one of the few clubs around here that consistently gets kids to college. Even their 2019 isn't that great, but has something like 14 kids already committed. The key is joining a club that has a track record and plays in the right tournaments to get exposure. The guys running VLC are pretty good.[/quote]
