A man on Twitter went through all of her tweets. They are here: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1025437806775226368.html
Wow. I couldn't stomach going through that entire batch, but the sheer volume of her tweets tell me there's more than merely satire going on. Someone who is just "poking fun" does not go on that extensive a rampage, and keep it up for that length of time. And fine. Freedom of speech and all that. But she should not be on the editorial staff of (one of) the country's most prominent newspapers.
Actually most of those are clearly satirical. Some are very funny, I loved her tweetstorm about an app to help white people cook rice. Clearly the problem here is that many of you have no sense of humor.
So the next time a white person tweets about "dumbass f'cking black people pissing oll over the the internet like dogs" or that maybe "blacks will become extinct and that was [her] plan all along" or has a hashtag "cancel black people," to quote just three of hundreds, you will think it's funny?
It depends on the context. In context, Jeong's "marking up the internet" tweet -- which you don't even quote correctly -- may not be not humorous, but it is also obviously not racist. In context, she is clearly referring to specific tweets and the (presumably) white authors of those tweets. She wasn't referring to all white people. It's also pretty obvious to anyone with a brain that she doesn't really want to cancel all white people. You seem to want to read her tweets in a vacuum without any context and without any additional knowledge of her. That is a mistake. To address your question, if a white person made a joke about the opinions of specific black people (not sure why you want to pick on black people when they had nothing to do with this, but you be you), I'm not sure anyone would even flinch. That sort of thing happens all the time. Look at all the criticism of Maxine Waters and people who support her. Do you consider that entirely racist? If a white person used a "cancel black people" hashtag, it would most likely be considered racist. The US being what it is, the idea of cancelling white people is clearly absurd and not serious. Sadly, the idea of cancelling black people has some historical resonance and cannot clearly be understood as hyperbole or not literal. Again, these things can't be looked at in a complete vacuum. History and the existing power structure need to be considered.
Just when I thought your empty rationalizations couldn’t get any lower... -DP
