I'm not even saying that Northern Virginia is particularly friendly to Conservatives, but at least I'm not constantly confronted with in-your-face leftism. I know two or three people on my street who voted for Trump, but like me, did so more for change against Hillary Clinton, not because we really like Trump. It's such a shame that no one listens to people like me because we have some things we may agree upon. I am in favor of legal immigration and responsible gun legislation.

The main two main difference politically between Maryland and Virginia is that Virginia respects Capitalism and isn't always looking for reasons to call you racist. 
In Maryland, if you don't vote for a black person, it's because you're racist, if you don't go to a Black Lives Matter rally, it's because  you're racist, if you criticize PG County schools, you're racist, if you bring up safety in Baltimore, you're racist, you say anything, you're racist. I've been told Larry Hogan is racist and for the life of me cannot think of any reason why they would think that. And Maryland Democrats literally just elected three Communists (Jealous, Raskin, and Elrich). I don't care if someone is Black or Jewish, I care because they are Communists!
The Democratic Socialists of America endorse someone and it's received like a good thing! People in Takoma Park and Silver Spring walk around promoting Communism, and people in nice houses with manicured yards in Bethesda and Chevy Chase chastise each other for having White Privilege. Montgomery County is seriously a parody of itself, and Jealous/Raskin/Elrich are like their Troika or three stooges.

Once again I am NOT racist. In Virginia there is a large Muslim population and I have no problem with Muslims. I am a Christian and I practice my religion and they have the freedom to practice theirs. LGBT people have the freedom to practice their lifestyle even if its something my religion does not approve. It's a free country - but the People's Republic of Maryland excludes everyone who is Conservative, Christian, or Capitalist and they deserve what is coming for them. Ben Jealous (and hopefully he will not be elected but if he is, not my problem) will bring economic collapse and a Social Justice Warrior Dictatorship and Marc Elrich will bring Socialism and turn Montgomery County into a protectorate of Venezuela.
