Many of the nurses I know (male and female) have gone on to become advanced practice nurses (NPs and CRNAs) as well as into leadership or consulting roles (management, informatics, education). Get with the times. Often times, the patients think we're their doctors, and the medical residents come to us for help because we're usually more experienced than them.[/quote]
