Even if that's true, what Trump said is shameful and embarrassing.  I don't know how you Rs can stand by this.  But then, I guess it's not a big surprise coming from a group of people who would still support Trump even if he shot someone on 5th ave or thinks there are "good people" on the side of white supremacists.

I am not  surprised at how Rs can spin, deflect and downplay Trump's perfidy and stupidity.   I am not surprised at all that Trump stated what he said. I was expecting it.[/quote]
