I have always enjoyed looking at her blog from time to time but the latest post, about her friend's tragedy seemed so ME, ME, ME. Big turnoff. She must spend a fortune on the kids' clothes. I saw their room on apartment therapy. I hadn't noticed the TV show idea but I guess it's not that great of a surprise. For her kids' sake I hope that they never develop cystic acne or anything, such a focus on appearance.
Yeah I like her blog, but I agree with you on today's post...called "Shaken," about a friend's child who was just killed in an accident. Toward the end of the post she talks about how sometimes it's good to be shaken up being things settle more soundly afrewards or something. I just think this is a bit much...it's not good to be shaken up if it is as a result of a child dying tragically. I mean I understand where she was going with her larger point...but yeah, this is an example of her realllllly stretching to find something positive about something adverse. I felt after I read the post...boy I hope the little boy's parents didn't read this. Would hate for them to read about how their child's death has further expanded her mind to the wonders of the universe or whatever.
