Supporting white men means exactly that. If you think there is a problem with disaffected white males, find ways to support them. When we thought there was a problem with girls and self esteem, sports, math we found ways to support them. Girls are now overtaking males in higher education. Signed, a woman
Boys and young men need strong positive male role models in their lives. It's not that complicated. We don't need MORE mandated government special snowflake programs to support them.
This whole role model thing that people obsess about, particularly women, does nothing to help bullied kids. Why do the bullies have special programs to keep them in school and out of prison (including their own alternative schools) while the bullied kids get nothing except more bullying and in many cases suicide (and in the even more extreme mass shootings). This doesn’t just affect boys either. Google “bullying suicide” and you will see plenty of articles about it. The schools do nothing. Speaking from personal experience, I wasn’t only bullied by students, one of my 7th grade TEACHERS made fun of me.
My nephew’s teacher routinely told him he’d never amount to anything. Sorry that happened to you pp
