[/quote] This. My son has treenut and peanut allergies, and yes, it is scary. I do think that he has to learn to manage his allergies in an unsafe world, and that he has to learn to be thick-skinned about it. If you're shelling peanuts next to him and he gets up and moves away, don't make a snide comment. He's not asking you to stop, but is removing himself from a situation that's potentially dangerous. I do think, however, that eating [b]in all sorts of public places [/b]has gotten out of control.
