The advantage of a citywide lottery is that ability to pay for proximity to Tenleytown is not used as a criterion for access to what you believe are the better city schools. It undoes some of the effect of residential segregation. It requires Ward 3 to invest in citywide solutions rather than hoard privilege. Should I go on?
