GP is a good school for an outgoing kid, who does well academically and who wants to actually play (not warm the bench) multiple sports each year. The academics are solid, and the coaches work together to support multi-sport athletes.
the challenge with GP is its matriculation data. Not a lot of top college acceptances. Other all-boys fare better. Just saying.
I'd like to see the data that supports this claim. There are only a few other all boys Catholic schools I am aware of. St Anselms is a tiny school focused on academics. Gonzaga is twice the size of Prep and has a WCAC level athletic program. If you took the athletes out of the mix, I wonder what the top school placement number would be. DeMatha? Carroll? These are for the average high school student.
